Tasting Notes
The Cuvee Gold of Château VARI is made from the very best selected harvests of botrylised grapes, from the 60-year-old vines of Sémillon. There are 3 successive sorlings. Thanks to the work of botrytis cinerea, the suga r, acidity and aroma components of the grapes are highly concentrated. The grapes are hand-picked one by one; they enjoy a delicate pressing for a full night and the fermentation and ageing take place in ba rrels for 14 months, which are placed in a small 17.- Centruy house.
